Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Where can I find classes near me?  See our Teachers' Listings.  In September the list will be updated and you will find more information about teachers offering regular classes.  We will be including more about each teacher's locale and days/hours of classes to help you narrow down your search quickly.

  2. Does the guild take donations of used weaving equipment?  Yes! The guild will be happy to sell your used looms with accessories.  Be aware though, that donations to the guild are not tax-deductible.  Email Loom Donations

  3. How can I sell my old loom?  Visit the Used Looms page.

  4. I plan to move/am new to the Boston area. Can you help me connect to some weavers?  The guild welcomes visitors at their monthly meetings. You can email for help meeting weavers with specific interests.

Using the Website

Any difficulties with this site may be reported to  Please mention what operating system (Mac, Vista, etc.) and browser (and its version number) you are running.

Adobe Flash player:  Nearly everyone has this, but if you don't, you'll be prompted to download it from Adobe, a trusted site.  Flash is used for fun things like the May Fashion Show, not for any critical information. Alas, the Flash player is not supported on Apple's mobile devices (in a cost-effective way.)  You just see a blank space where the Flash should be.  This will be addressed soon.
